Appointments
Who do I see?
Routine appointments
Appointments can be booked up to a month in advance. Doctors appointments are of 10 minutes duration and an appointment is for a single consultation only. If other family members need to be seen, please ensure that you book each family member a separate appointment. Should you have a number of issues to discuss with the doctor, please advise the receptionist who will schedule extra time with the doctor.
Every effort is made to keep to time; however, given the complexity of some of our work, we would ask for your understanding if a surgery should be running late.
Routine face to face appointments
To request a routine appointment in advance during opening times:
- phone us on 0208 977 2638
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or Patient Access to book an appointment, screening test or vaccination
Routine telephone appointments
If you have a query concerning your medication or a question relating to an ongoing condition please contact the surgery to request a telephone appointment.
Urgent Appointments
We provide a telephone appointments service throughout the day during the hours 8am and 6pm. If patients have an urgent immediate need of medical advice or care on the day they are advised to ring the surgery.
Your name and contact details will be passed to a duty doctor who will call you back and after an initial assessment you will either be given advice over the telephone or booked in to see a doctor later that same day.
Please remember it may not always be possible to see the doctor of your choice in an emergency.
Cancelling your appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- use the GP online system: Patient Access
- phone us on 0208 977 2638 during opening times
Home Visits
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
If you are unable to attend the surgery and need to be seen urgently, please phone reception as soon as possible to request a home visit. The duty doctor will contact you to discuss your requirement before visiting you at home.
Please remember that several patients can be seen at the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. Please take this into consideration when making a request for a home visit.
